1. Strip Method

Cleansing of scalp, injection of anesthesia and portion of scalp is taken off from that area. Next, that portion of scalp is divided into 1000-2000 grafts. After preparing the grafts, the area where hair need to be planted, is numbed, holes or slits are created and the grafts are carefully placed inside those holes.

2. FUE Method

Follicular Unit Extraction is a newer hair transplant method in which individual hair follicles are transplanted to a thinning or balding area from a donor site, an area of denser hair growth typically located on the back or side of the head using micro punches to remove individual follicles.
